Otto Virgel Wurm, son of John and Christina (Haug) Wurm, was born 4 Dec 1853 in Seneca County, Ohio. He was baptised at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Seneca County, Ohio on 11 Dec 1853. Sponsors were Peter Casanova and Maria Anna Wurm. Otto married Gabriella Anna "Brilla" Owen 14 Nov 1882 in Seneca County, Ohio. Brilla was born 14 Oct 1858 in Ohio to Lewis R. and Almeda (Rice) Owen and died 17 July 1947 at Schaller, Iowa.
Otto Virgel and Gabriella Anna (Owen) Wurm had six children:
1 - Lewis Alvin Wurm (1883-?)
2 - Lloyd Isidor Wurm was born 21 March 1885 in Bloom Township, Seneca County, Ohio and died 25 Aug 1885 in Bloom Township, Seneca County, Ohio.
3 - Gertrude Ollie Wurm was born 10 April 1887 and died of cholera 17 Aug 1888 in Bloom Township, Seneca County, Ohio.
4 - Ellsworth Clement Wurm (1889-1967)
5 - Nelson Leo Wurm was born 18 Oct 1891at Jolley, Iowa and died 12 March 1935 at Sioux City, Iowa. Nelson is buried in Graceland Cemetery in Sioux City, Iowa. He married Avis Leona Mason 10 Sept 1920 at Spencer, Iowa. Avis was born about 1898 in Illiois to Jacob and Nora (Trendoff) Mason. Nelson and Avis were living in Clay County, Iowa in 1930. They did not have any children listed living with them in that year's census.
6 - - Wurm, name unknown, was born and died between 1892 and 1900.
