"John Wurm, 91, retired farmer, formerly of St. Stephen, died at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Alvin Aichholz, near Attica. His death resulted from infirmities of old age.
Mr. Wurm was born at St. Stephen April 13, 1848, to Christian and Hannah (Lehman) Wurm. He was married to Philomena Falter who died in 1899. Surviving are a son and four daughters; Mrs. Cecelia Buchman, Tiffin; L.J. Wurm, Mrs. Louis Gerdeman, Mrs. Alvin Aichholz and Mrs. Otto Gerhardstein, all near Attica; a brother, Joseph, of Kingsley, Mich.; and 22 grandchidlren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services are to be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the St. Stephen Catholic Church and will be conducted by the Rev. R.H. Monnin. Interment will be in the parish cemetery."

"Died - Josephene, wife of John C. Worm, last Sunday March 14, aged thirty-five years. Funeral services at the St. Stephens Catholic church, Wednesday morning. She leaves a husband and seven small children to mourn her death, the youngest being only three weeks old."

"Wurm - Clement Wurm, a resident of St. Stephens, died at a hospital in Rome City, Ind., Monday, March 16, 1908. He went to the hospital three weeks ago and last Thursday underwent an operation. His condition showed some improvement for a short time, but he became weaker and death resulted, this morning. The deceased was aged about twenty-eight years and has been a lifelong resident of St. Stephens. Surviving him are his father, John Wurm, of Carrothers, one brother, Lawrence, of St. Stephens, and five sisters, Mrs. Fred L. Buchman, of Eden Township, and Misses Josephine, Marguerite, Ida and Dorothy, of St. Stephens. The body will be taken to St. Stephens for interment."
