Cornelius Peter "Neil" Worm, son of Thomas and Barbara (Miller) Worm, was born 4 March 1881 at New Washington, Crawford County, Ohio and died 19 April 1970 at Traverse City, Michigan. He was baptised at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in New Washington, Ohio on 4 March 1881. Neil married Helena Lautner 3 Nov 1903 at Traverse City, Michigan. She was born 27 Jan 1879 in Leelanau County, Michigan to Edward and Teresa (Sigh) Lautner and died 16 May 1962.

"Cornelius Worm, 89, of 521 S. Garfield, Traverse City, died Sunday afternoon at Munson Medical Center after a long illness.
A funeral mass will be sung at Traverse City St. Francis church, Rev. Fr. Louis Van Bergen celebrant, with burial in Oakwood cemetery. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Reynolds funeral home in Traverse City.
Mr. Worm was born March 1, 1881, at New Washington, O., the son of Thomas and Barbara Worm, and lived most of his life in the Grand Traverse area, where he owned and operated a farm. He was a member of Traverse City St. Francis Church.
On November 3, 1903 at Traverse City, he was married to Helena Lautner, who died in 1962. His parents, seven brothers and four sisters also preceded him in death.
Surviving are a daughter: Mrs. Kenneth (Josephine) Reece of Traverse City; a son, Walter of Cadillac; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Umlor of Kingsley and Mrs. Cecilia DeFer of Traverse City; and a brother, Lawrence of Traverse City."

"MRS. WORM DIES AT 83
Mrs. Cornelius (Neil) Worm, 83, of 521 S. Garfield, Traverse City, died early this morning at her home after a lingering illness.
Helena Lautner was born January 27, 1879 in Leelanau County, later living on a farm in Garfield Township and moving to the Garfield Road residence in 1933. On November 3, 1903, she was married to Mr. Worm, who survives. She was a life member of Traverse City St. Francis church.
Surviving besides the husband are one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Josephine) Reece of 539 Garfield, one son, Walter, of Cadillac, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; six brothers, Edmund, Edward, Stephen, William, Joseph and Theodore Lautner, all of Traverse City; and several nieces and nephews.
One son, Stephen, died in 1946.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the St. Francis church, Rev. Fr. Joseph E. Kohler officiating, with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8:00 p.m. Friday at Reynolds Funeral Home in Traverse City."
