"Peter C. Worm, 83, passed away Tuesday afternoon at his home, South Sprice street, after a lingering illness.
Mr. Worm was born in New Washington, Ohio April 15, 1870, came to this region with his parents in 1884 and settled at Hannah. On Jan. 16, 1895 he was married to Elizabeth Weber and the couple made their home on a farm near Hannah until 1906 when they came to Traverse City, where he has since resided.
Surviving besides his widow, one son, Joseph T. Worm, and one daughter, Mrs. Ralph Eagleton, both of this city; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, four brothers, Ben, Neil and Lawrence of this city and Adam of Hannah; three sisters, Mrs. John DeFer of this city, Mrs. Ivan Umlor of Hannah, and Mrs. Kate Fasel of Hannah and several nieces and nephews.
Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
He was a member of the Immaculate Conception church and the Holy Name Society.
The body was taken to the Reynolds Funeral Home where the rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 8:00 o'clock. Funeral servies will be held at 9:00 o'clock Friday morning at the Immaculate Conception church with Father Russell Passean officiating. Burial will be made in the Hannah cemetery."
