Anthony & Christina (McCarthy) Richard

Hellena Christine "Christina" McCarthy, daughter of Dennis Joseph and Mary Anna (Wurm) McCarthy, was born 21 March 1870 in Bloom Township, Seneca County, Ohio and died 28 July 1941 at St. Paul, Neosho County, Kansas.  Christina married Anthony Richard 21 Aug 1888 in Paulding County, Ohio.  He was born 6 Nov 1851 in Seneca County, Ohio to Jacob and Madelaine (Schane) Richard and died 6 March 1909 at Erie, Kansas.  Anthony had been previously married to Mary Philomena Casanova, daughter of John Peter and Margarette (Falter) Casanova, who died in 1886.  Following Anthony's death, Christina married George Thomas Pierce on 18 Jan 1916 at Erie, Kansas.  George was born in 1861 at Pawnee, Illinois to W.Y. and Harriett (-) Pierce and died 29 April 1928 at Walnut, Kansas.

Anthony and Hellena Christine (McCarthy) Richard had eight children:
1 - Cecilia Marie Richard (1889-1969)
2 - Joseph Carl "Charley" Richard was born 18 Sept 1891 in Harrison Township, Paulding County, Ohio and died 3 Sept 1892 in Harrison Township, Paulding County, Ohio.
3 - Oliver Anthony Richard (1893-1961)
4 - Lewis John Richard (1896-1985)
5 - Henry Virgil "Harry" Richard was born in April 1899 at Payne, Paulding County, Ohio and died 29 Feb 1952 at Erie, Kansas.  He married Anna Catherine Aitenhofen 22 Nov 1932 at St. Francis Catholic Church in St. Paul, Kansas.  She was born 24 Oct 1894 in Seneca County, Ohio to Alvton and Catherine (Kongs) Aitenhofen and died 10 Sept 1985 at Oswego, Kansas.  Harry and Anna did not have any children.
6 - Marie Veronica Richard (1902-1943)
7 - Raymond Hugh Richard (1904-1997)
8 - Eugene John Richard (1906-1985)
